Tomorrow I go back to work after having 3 days off, its not like I don't like my job, I have just enjoyed the time off with family and friends. It is amazing how my life turns into one big routine when I don't take any time off. No wonder I feel like I can't be spontaneous! My job has changed a whole heck of a lot for me this past year. I had many co-workers leave either on their own terms or promotions and I miss them a lot. Its OK, I keep in touch, its hard but the friendships that are important will remain and if not then I am lucky to have had them in my life while I did. Somehow someway they made a difference in my life an I will treasure it. As for myself I was promoted and have someone working under me. This is a big change but I hope that I am doing a good job...guess I will see come my first review right? Seriously, my second blog is about work?? I guess it goes to show that its part of my life and I can't escape it, until I win the lottery which means I need to start playing it first. At least I think that is how that works. This is the point where I believe my blog starts to turn into a ramble. Like I said with my first post, its suppose to be a view from my perspective. I guess what I can say about work is this, always try to make sure you are having fun. I keep a toy magic wand at my desk along with other several toys to remind myself not to take life so seriously. Life is to short to not be joyful. I play with my toys at my desk when I need a mental break or when I am stuck on the phone waiting on hold. Some of my toys them have become shrines for my friends who use to hang out in my office and its funny when someone tries to play with them I want to tell them to not touch, hahaha. Guess it is my way of keeping their memories at the office. Either way that is my little view point on that subject. It is getting pretty late and I have to wake up early tomorrow so I will leave you with a cute little tweet I saw on Twitter the other day (Yes, I have a twitter account.) Made me chuckle because I know we all have some type of treats/food that show up at our offices and we tend to the have the prairie dog effect, you know the kind where someone hears "treat" and we pop our heads up looking for where they are located. Always makes me chuckle! Enjoy your day at work tomorrow y'all, I am off to meet the Sandman. ♥
