I keep telling myself that I don't have resolutions this year but rather, lets say things I would like to try and keep up...hahaha. Resolutions I would most likely just give up for lent! I spent a lot of time last year with social networking, emails, texting (even though I have a limit) and hours spent on my phone. It took an incident with my sister to realize I am on my phone a lot and this year I going to make a change. Yes, I will still use my phone but I want to value relationships more. I admire one of my friends who invites his friends over to dinner every so often and calls it family dinner. I was honored one time to receive an invite and I loved it. We took a trip back east to visit some of my hubster's family and we had many hours at the dinner table eating and just hanging out with family. I missed it so much when I came back, so this year I am starting dinner night with my friends. Its not a scheduled event but I will make the effort because those are when memories are made. Yes, they are made when you are out being silly but just being able to sit and enjoy each others company is what I want for this year. I hope I keep it up because I value the people in my life and I want to make the most of every day.

I would say that I say Thank You often and when it is needed, the only thing I have never been that great at is writing thank you notes. I will send an email but kind of similar to the post above I still think it is important to put aside the techy toys and hand write a card. Call me crazy but I took handwriting in school and by golly I will use it! I hope Mrs. Dudley is smiling right now knowing that I will be using those skills. I already have a good start on the year with two cards out but I will try and make it a point during the rest of the year. On that note I just want to say THANK YOU for taking a minute to read my blog. Until next time kids, have a wonderful morning, afternoon or evening. Be thankful for something in your life today! ♥
